We study how your business works. Then we build what fits.
We build software for South African businesses that need better ways to sell, manage and report.
Who we are, and why we do this.
Lumina Cube is a software team in Johannesburg. Between us we have spent years building the systems businesses actually run on — points of sale, storefronts, reporting, the workflows nobody puts on a brochure.
We build custom software for South African businesses: business systems, online stores, dashboards and the automation that ties them together. We scope the problem before anyone writes code, build alongside your team, and stay on after launch.
We do it because too much real work still lives on paper, in notebooks, or in a spreadsheet only one person knows how to open. The software sold to these businesses was priced for bigger companies or designed for somewhere else, and never quite fit how they actually run. We build the alternative.

Build software that fits the way a business already works — so less time goes to admin, and more goes to customers.
A South Africa where growing businesses run on tools built for them, not borrowed from somewhere else.
Who leads the work.
Xolani Mgube
Founder, Lumina Cube ConsultingXolani founded Lumina Cube after more than seven years building software in industry. He spends most of his time where projects are won or lost — scoping the problem properly, and making sure what gets built matches how the business actually runs.
He is happiest on the awkward problems: the workflow nobody has written down, the process still living in one person’s spreadsheet. Turning those into something a whole team can use is the part of the job he enjoys most.
Lumina Cube delivers as a team, with specialist partners brought in where a build calls for it — the Mokaleng site, for example, was delivered alongside AfriConnect Solutions. Xolani stays close to scoping and delivery on every project.
